Version 2.0.2
- The control panel has been updated to provide more flexibility - new buttons to control the rotation and tilt have been added around the circular dials.
- The region outline in the thumbnail display has been replaced with a relief map.
- Previously the rotation was always relative to the eye point. This version has an extra rotation mode to allow rotation around the viewed point (ie the point at the centre of the view). See the help documentation for full details.
- The registration / trial procedures and dialogs have been updated for more clarity. Also possible to delete a trial region that is no longer required.
- Movement can now be controlled from a joystick or games pad. The action of each button can be programmed via a new Options icon.
- The new Options icon also allows you to delete region(s) from the hard disk. Note that the registration (and trial) details are retained so that re-installing the region will return to the original status. This makes it easy to re-gain disk space safe in the knowledge that the region(s) can be easily re-installed to the same hard disk at any time in the future.
- Clicking with the left mouse button on the display will show location information of the point clicked in a ‘tooltip’ window.
- Options have been added for working with GPX data - data associated with GPS personal navigation devices. Waypoints and routes can be created within Photoscape 3D for subsequent upload to a device. Likewise waypoints, routes and tracks may be downloaded from the device and be displayed and ‘followed’. NOTE: The transfer of GPX data between the PC and a GPS device is not handled by Photoscape 3D. See the help documentation for more details.
- A minimise button has been added for easier access to the desktop
